Mila Vujovich-La Barre has served in the SLCUSD as a Spanish teacher for 33 years at SLO High School and Laguna Middle School. She has given her time and talents to serve the development of our youth. She has many accomplishments outside of her career including working with The Youth Sports Association and the Army Corps of Engineers to assure the building and preservation of the Damon-Garcia Sports Fields, participating in local elections, and serving on the Board of Directors at Sunny Acres. She is a visionary community service leader who has taken on leadership roles to combat drug use, provide positive alternatives for teens, promote volunteerism, and advocate for smart growth for a shared quality of life on the Central Coast.
